On Monday, 20 December, at the extraordinary plenary sitting the Saeima adopted in the final reading the state budget for 2011. The budget was adopted with 54 MPs voting for, 38 voting against, and one abstaining.

The budget law package for 2011 consists of the Law on the State Budget for 2011 and a set of budget-related laws.
